Mala'a is the new credit bureau from Oman's Central Bank. Mala’a are the national reference point for accurate and timely financial information. Their role is to bring clarity and confidence to the financial system of Oman, promoting financial inclusion by giving the country and Omanis greater access to levels of finance they can sustain. In doing so, they are able to provide stimulation to investment and progress in the Sultanate. Essentially, Mala’a unlock progress and make liquidity flow towards people who have a good credit history and are able to manage this finance sustainably.
